Role Overview
Lead Environment, Health, and Safety operations at our Jamshedpur facility. You will build a zero-incident culture, manage regulatory compliance, conduct safety training, and drive continuous improvement in workplace safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor EHS policies and procedures compliant with the Factories Act and state regulations
- Conduct regular safety audits, hazard assessments, and incident investigations
- Design and deliver safety training programs for all plant employees and contractors
- Manage fire safety systems, emergency evacuation plans, and first-aid readiness
- Monitor environmental compliance — emissions, effluents, and waste management
- Prepare and submit statutory filings to SPCB, Labour Department, and DISH
- Drive behavioural safety programs and track leading/lagging EHS KPIs
Requirements & Qualifications
- B.Tech / Diploma in Safety Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
- NEBOSH IGC or ADIS certification mandatory
- 5–8 years in EHS roles within heavy/medium manufacturing
- Knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and Indian Factories Act
- Experience with EHS software and incident management systems
