Supply Chain Executive
Role Overview
Manage procurement, logistics, and inventory operations for raw materials and finished goods. You will coordinate with vendors, optimise freight costs, and ensure seamless supply continuity for our multi-plant manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and negotiate contracts for aluminium rods, steel core wire, and packaging materials
- Track and optimise inbound/outbound logistics across Ranchi, Jamshedpur, and Kolkata facilities
- Maintain optimal inventory levels using min-max and reorder point methodologies
- Coordinate with production planning for raw material availability alignment
- Process purchase orders, GRNs, and vendor invoices in ERP/SAP
- Evaluate vendor performance quarterly on quality, delivery, and pricing metrics
- Prepare MIS reports on procurement spend, lead times, and stock positions
Requirements & Qualifications
- B.Com / BBA / MBA in Supply Chain or Operations Management
- 2–5 years in procurement or supply chain within manufacturing
- Proficiency in SAP MM or equivalent ERP modules
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Working knowledge of GST, import documentation, and customs procedures
